Sewing, again, in June and vacation in July~by Beth

With vacation in mind the girls, and Stephen, sewed aprons with a pattern to give to some of the ladies in our family who we would see on our vacation.

Before we traveled Abigail had her confirmation.

We left July 1 and stopped for a day at the Ark Encounter again.

The following day we stopped at the Creation Museum for half a day, then drove on up to Grandma's house in NE Ohio.

While in Ohio Jon worked on a number of projects, among them rebuilding part of the shed, building out the eaves in the back so the rain would not deteriorate the wall, and fixing up the inside.  The girls and I cleaned out the shed from the furry friends who had invited themselves in.  Gross!  We also went hiking, which was fun.  The pool is always a highlight.

A week and a half later we left for Texas.  We just love our children and grandchildren.

Jon also did projects at Katie's and Nathan's house.

Before Jon and the children left Nathan's house, I had flown home early for work, Charity arrived to visit before heading off to Lake Charles for the Seahawk program.  They fit in a girls' get together.

While we were in Texas our niece graduated from high school in Ohio.  This is her with her two grandmas.  Dad's headstone was finished as well.

Then Jon and the kids went to our family conference where Stephen had the joy of participating in ALERT Cadets.

Right after arriving home the three students began school.
